I work with small businesses. We try to use technology to improve business. The more pro-active businesses are trying to get involved with social networking. Problem is, most of them are small businesses and time poor.
Social Networking appears to offer many possibilities. It has few “costs” but the more we do the more we think you need an army of people to keep on top of it.
I have enough problems getting people to “Tweet” relevant information regularly, never mind add rich content to facebook or anywhere else. The number of networks is growing and I wonder if this sector is going to implode due to the human time factor simply becoming the dominant issue. The only players will be large corporates with deep pockets and for me that will be a big shame.
