time zone consideration?

Do time zones have any effect on the results in the graphs? For example if there’s a spike for “vegetables” at 12am, does that reflect a spike at 12am for any given user in any given time zone? or is it based, say, on GMT and a spike at 12am for vegetables would correspond to 4pm PST?
