AB 2118 is a new introduced bill by Assembly Member Sebastian Ridley-Thomas that would allow California Adoptees Access to their original birth certificates. California adoptees are denied access to know their first/birth parents identity, which essentially means that the adoptee is denied their genetic identity, vital medical information, and their human and civil right to know who and where they came from.
