ArtRESPONSE-38 is our response. Artists are reducing their fee by 19% and Ellenbogen Gallery is matching this reduction of its commission. There has never been a better time to buy artwork by these artists than right now. This 38% combined reduction of the cost of any artwork over $250 that was part of the “Winter Exhibition 2020” will end on May 31, 2020. We all hope that our response will encourage those of you still in a position to start building or expanding an art collection at this time, to purchase a work of art by these artists now. Visit www.ellenbogengallery.art for information.

These are sad and frightening times indeed, but also a time for reflection and invention. Many artists, galleries and all types of art institutions have been trying new ways to connect people with art. Now is a good time to innovate and establish a strong foundation for what may be challenging times to come. For early and late-career emerging artists and the galleries that represent them, recovery may take months or years. Taking action now creates a window of opportunity for artists, for galleries and for collectors too; it also provides hope. We are ready to launch our response to the economic and health situation in which we find ourselves, ArtRESPONSE-38.
