The reason i did my taxes there 2017 was my roommate told me i can possible get an interest free loan from there company. I am very computer competent person and have done my taxes at home using free tax prep services for at least 15 years. I figured shoot maybe i should go there i have a high power bill from a very cold winter. Upon going to Block Advisory(HR BLOCK Affiliate) on Address: 9827 E Sprague Ave D, Spokane Valley, WA 99206 Phone: (509) 921-0148. I stated to (Andrea Greek Tax Professional) the only reason i was going there was to possible get that loan for 1,200 dollars. She did state that it is based off of credit done through Bell Bank. I was like ok no problem i went through the process. At then end of spending 1 1/2 hours there and doing my taxes she messed up. She says oh that's weird i'm like "What" she said your loan didn't print out. So basically she did it wrong so she did it all again and i had to sign everything twice. So she went through the 2nd time and gave me my envelope with a blank emerald card. She said i will get an answer in 1-3 days. Well we wait i check the card 1-3 days a few times a day. Nothing i call Emerald Card they said nope no loan was ever submitted. I asked the nice guy on the phone is that weird that there is nothing submitted he states yes it is either way there would be a yes or no on the loan. I call back Block Advisors a affiliate of H&R BLOCK and they tell me no i was denied. Well i would of believed it if they didn't have messed it up and i had to sign everything so i call back Emerald card again another agent repeats what that guy said NO LOAN WAS SUBMITTED. At that point i was mad so I called the bank that issued the loan. This is where it gets interesting Emerald Card Bank that issues these loans i called them they told me same thing. No Application was submitted so i said to this banker what does this mean? He states if there is no application submitted you cannot be denied or approved. So Yea this Agent Andrea Greek in spokane lied to me 2 or 3 times about this when i had 4 or more professionals from H&r Block corporate, emerald card and the bank that issues your loans that she never did the one thing i asked her to. Submit my loan. This is extremely unprofessional to not do the one thing i ask then lie do not do your taxes at HR Block they are not tax professionals they take your money and just say oh you got denied when it never got submitted. We called corporate they keep saying they will call us back but we hear nothing From Block Advisor. 1. They lied to me! 2. They never even did there job when i told her I was only there to apply for that advance. 3. She charged me 300$ when i could of done it for free. 4. When i found out she never submitted the loan they never even said sorry or try to fix it all they did was deny what happened.
