We daily wake up to street that is coloured with refuse dumped indiscriminately at various sites. The act of dumping refuse at various sites or from a moving vehicle or unconsciously dropping it on ground after taking snacks, water and the likes is gradually becoming a normal habit in Nigeria. Challenged by this reality which should not be, a group of young people in Nigeria called @teamwearemad Initiative is daily raising awareness on keeping Nigeria clean. #DFNig2020 is a campaign by the group with the aim of achieving a Dirt-free Nigeria by 2020. The campaign is aimed at raising loud awareness on the need to maintain a clean environment. By 17th February we want to have recorded 1million tweets all over Nigeria and the world joining us to show our displeasure at the state of our environment, educate people on the need to maintain a clean environment and also call of stakeholders to get to work
