Empathy has not historically been much in evidence in the workplace. In new tech-accelerated work environments, empathy is a critical part of emotional intelligence skillset needed to be able to lead and collaborate effectively across the increasingly decentralized workforce.

Empathy is something we are well aware of in our personal lives, but not our professional lives. Now it is time to change that and bring empathy into our workplaces and spaces.
