United Vision for Idaho the state's only progressive alliance consisting of 40 statewide, organizations and more than 30,000 individuals. When civic action, policy change, and leadership development come together, we can shift the balance of power and improve the lives of all people and families. Together, we are rising up for shared vision of progress for ALL. And we need every Idahoan in this with us to ensure the future we all deserve. Multiplication Doesn't Happen Through Division: This is a time of crisis. This is a time for action. We must fight for the kind of democracy we’ve never seen before. But, we refuse to be defined by the crisis we’re in. We know what we’re up against, and we know we have it in us to put up a fight. We live in cities and towns, on farms and reservations. We’re young and old. We represent all races, genders, and faiths. We were born within our borders and beyond them. We’re workers and Main Street business owners. We fight together for systemic change and policy change, and a political system where we can all help determine our collective future. And we’re building the kind of movement in Idaho we need to win. Rising up together, we are redefining our country. We are transforming protest into power and building a new democracy. We are the People!...And, this is our time.

In 2016, UVI Launched Rise Up, Idaho! We've led delegations to Washington DC, provided activists with national training, connect Idaho leaders with coordinated national efforts, meet with congressional leaders, lead direction action and counter protests to protect and promote policies that improve the lives of people. This is a time that requires everything of each and everyone of us. Fairness, justice and equal opportunity should be afforded everyone, and not just bestowed to the very few. We coordinate efforts to build real power to fight for the kind of democracy we’ve never seen before. We refuse to be defined by the crisis we’re in. We are Idaho UNITED; We live in cities and towns, on farms and reservations. We’re young and old. We represent all races, genders, and faiths. We were born within our borders and beyond them. We’re workers and Main Street business owners. AND, Together we are RISING UP for systemic change and policy change, and a political system where we can all help determine our collective future and all voices matter. We are working collectively to build the kind of movement in Idaho we need to win. Together, we are RISING UP to redefine our state and our country. We are Idahoans who want a better - a different path, a different future and willing to put their whole selves into a sustainable effort with strategic methods to get there. Our constituents are Idahoans who share core values and who are active and rising up to be participants in the democratic process as active citizens, teachers, advocates, and leaders. Together, we represent people of color, refugees, women and children, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, faith and interfaith leaders, labor groups, educators, students, and workers from all walks of life. In order to dismantle oppression, we must first understand that it exists and identify what forces work in conjunction to keep people marginalized. Through education, we begin to change our collective understanding and promote a level of engagement that creates change in our own communities. To that end, we examine opportunities and access to rights, and explore the impact of policies, programs, services and laws, and how our lives are inextricably linked to others.
