Annual spring conference hosted by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA). The Summit is a ticketed weekend event, usually held in the Los Angeles area. Summit 2013 takes place April 4-5 at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. USA. Day One of the TEA Summit is an executive level, limited seating business and leadership information exchange. Day Two is Case Studies Day, with presentations that showcase the current year's slate of Thea Awards recipients. Case Studies Day is open to a broader audience, including students and the press. The Thea Awards, presented annually by TEA, celebrate excellence in the creation of compelling places and experiences, around the world. The TEA Summit is part of TEA's Weekend of Events which comprises the two-day Summit as described above, followed by the annual Thea Awards Gala the following evening. In 2013, the Thea Awards Gala will take place the evening of April 6 at the Disneyland Hotel.
