When we have been through horrific experiences, especially when they start in childhood, those events can color our world well into adulthood. It has been established that childhood abuse survivors, domestic violence survivors, rape victims, and sexual assault victims suffer from self defeating behaviors well into adulthood. We Choose to Thrive is the voices of many rising in unison to share a message of healing and thriving after surviving childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse. These voices share our stories and the tools, steps and choices we have made so that we can live a happy and fulfilled life.
