I am a career salesperson that has done all the hard sales jobs in my 30-year career. Upon the request of a Business Professor at Ball State University to learn "true sales" I spent a summer selling used cars backed up by a few years of selling copiers. Why? Because they were the hardest jobs in sales and if you could survive the mental hurdles of rejection in those fields then you could be a salesperson. My last 20+ years have been in technology sales and with my success leveraging LinkedIn sharing that knowledge became my current passion. I have been a sales rep, sales manager, and owned a couple of companies in my career, and feel I have a lot to share. My knowledge is sharing my ups and downs of sales life and how that affected me in my personal life to hopefully let other salespeople out there know that they are not alone.
