I'm disgusted with the presidents interest in the nfl and how they behave during the national anthem. The president has larger concerns to worry about for one. The greater issue here is that while they have put into law some rules around conduct concerning the flag and the national anthem, the law itself runs counter to what the flag stands for. It is a symbol of freedom and justice, and stands as a beacon in the darkness of an oppressive world. The flag itself guarantees our freedom of speech and our right to protest any injustice we see fit to in this country. If we choose to not comply with these silly rules of conduct in opposition to injustice and inequality in this country, than that is our right and no one, including the president has the right to tell us any different.
