Operation Art is an initiative of The Children's Hospital at Westmead in association with the New South Wales Department of Education. The program provides a forum for schools and students to demonstrate their visual arts achievements through exhibitions around the state. Over the years, more than 1,000 colourful works have been selected to adorn the halls, wards and surgeries at Westmead, providing cheer to both patients and their families, and to staff who work there.
