What Makes Us Different from a Bank Since 1935, Railroad & Industrial in Tampa Bay has been a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. In 1935, 14 Railroad employees met in Tampa and decided to start the credit union. Over time, the original $70 in assets has grown to over $300 million in assets, over 33,000 members and several locations! Not only can you visit an office, we offer a fully functional robust mobile platform, including a mobile-friendly website, Apple App, and Google Play App. We believe the founders would be pleased to know that Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union has remained true to their founding values of service to employees by offering a place where employees can conveniently and consistently save and borrow money safely. We're better than a bank, we're a credit union! The Value of Membership Railroad & Industrial is not a publicly traded company, so we only answer to our shareholders. The credit union is a financial institution that shareholders (customers) can trust and where they will always experience the best value and the best service. Our Mission The mission of the credit union is to enrich the lives of our members by providing quality financial services within the credit union philosophy of people helping people while maintaining a strong financial foundation. President's Message At Railroad & Industrial Federal Credit Union we want to be your trusted financial partner, focused on your financial well being. Our goal is to provide the highest level of shareholder service in the Tampa Bay area. It is for this reason that we offer a varied selection of products that you can "mix and match" to meet your financial goals. Whether it's a high tech product, like PC Connect (our online banking and mobile apps), or your checking account with EZ Pay (our online and mobile bill payer), we are focused on increasing your options. This puts you, the shareholder, in control. Be sure to check back from time-to-time, we are always improving our product and service offerings. Pete Giorgianni, President/CEO
