#standoutforepilepsy is Epilepsy Australia's campaign for Purple Day 2015. We are asking people to wear purple on Purple Day 26 March to raise awareness of epilepsy. For too long Epilepsy has been a condition that has attracted unwarranted stigma, with people living with epilepsy often discriminated against at work, school, and sport. Yet it is a condition that responds well to medication in the majority of cases, with those diagnosed going on to live healthy and productive lives.
