Developer #GameInsight Is All About Free Mobile Games

October 16, 2014
Today's smart phones are always changing, but what do people want most out of them? The answer is more games. And who doesn't love free games? Well that's exactly what got popular game developer #GameInsight to become a huge trend all day yesterday. Responsible for many of the most popular "Top Free" applications and games for mobile phones, #GameInsight is always coming up with new ideas. game insight logo Although most of their games are aimed toward Android and i operating systems (OS), the developers recently made sure to include the Windows OS devices in their production. The company also produces games for browsers which are run through popular social media sites like Facebook. Both the Facebook applications and mobile versions encourage the sharing of game information across social media platforms. Players can instantly Tweet or post about their recent awards in the game which they be displayed to all of their friends. Of course, this can lead to competition among friends and is what has probably gotten more people involved in the last few days. Through social media, somebody can see their friend has been playing a new game which obviously attracts them to play to in order to compete with that friend and have some fun. This social interaction has brought #GameInsight into the range of tens-of-thousands of Tweets per hour over the last couple days. graphThe #GameInsight trend lasted all day and seemed to retain a pretty steady Tweet rate. In total, there were over one and a half million Tweets about the hashtag on the 15th alone. Most of the Tweets appeared to be the automatically generated message that is sent when the player chooses to share information. This mostly included achievements?and milestones?that the player accomplished while playing. Still, it was clear that people loved the game (although a few Tweeters were concerned as to why they were automatically sending these updates). t 1 t 2 t 3 t 4 t 5 There also seem to be games of all sorts of genres that involve building, collecting, and completing certain tasks as indicated by the Tweets of #GameInsight. Perhaps this hashtag become a big trend as one of the more popular games was released yesterday for the Windows OS. There was also a completely new game released the day before and there appears to be plenty of news on the website in general.
