The press and media lobby for the citizens, voters, and people who are often too busy to have a real voice and to be heard by the powerful and those in charge. We cannot only rely on our elected officials. We need all the tools and help we can get. We need the expertise the press can provide.

The press or media represent the people and their questions, interests and concerns. To disparage the press or media is to disparage the people and voters.
