A manufactured object that someone proposes may in time develop artificial intelligence and eventually sentience - the ability to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively. The word "box" is representative of any unaware object fabricated by human beings. The word "sentient" suggests an arising consciousness and the potential for relationship with the sentient box. The outcome of the sentient-to-sentient relationship is not predetermined to be beneficial nor detrimental to other sentient beings.
