HITS - Hire Industry Trusted Suppliers scheme - was formally launched on April 1 2018 with the long-term goal of all supply chain members passing the online assessment and due diligence process needed to achieve ‘Trusted Supplier’ status. The Supply Chain Board created HITS as an extra layer of reassurance for event hire businesses - meaning that when purchasing equipment and services, their chosen supply chain partner is also fully committed to maintaining the very best working practices and meets the standards needed to be recognised as a trusted supplier.
