Sick and injured children. Adults and teens suffering from behavioral and mental health conditions and substance abuse. And seniors, especially those with dementia, Alzheimer’s and other memory care conditions. In many cases our healthcare facilities are ill-designed to serve patients with these unique needs and conditions. Mental health patients are intermixed with general populations in EDs and throughout acute care facilities, creating added stress and safety risks for patients and staff. Children get treated in frightening adult-sized settings. And seniors with memory conditions face environments that further degrade their already fragile quality of life. We’ve enlisted the industry’s leading experts for three, deep-dive workshops – one day each, presenting strategies, solutions and resources to help you create the most effective environments for pediatric, memory and behavioral health care patients. You won’t find a program with this depth and breadth anywhere else.
