Created three weeks after the Las Vegas shooting on 10/02/17 to remind Americans that gun control has once again been sidestepped in the United States, even after the worst mass shooting by a single perpetrator in this country's history. The United States needs a sensible national gun control law designed to allow individuals to legally protect their homes and/or hunt, while preventing civilians from out-gunning local police forces, and local police forces from out-gunning either state/national guards or federal military forces. This policy should include 1) a definition of gun classes, 2) a gun registration program, 3) a gun buy-back program, and 4) minimum mandatory sentencing for violations. This hashtag is for anyone who understand the need for a sensible national gun control policy so that tragedies like the mass shooting in Las Vegas never happen again.
