ItsOnUsWV was initially created for the April 5, 2016 Sexual Assault Awareness Month Day-of-Action. The Council is committed to addressing and prevention sexual violence on all campuses in WV.

A part of the national It's On Us...to stop sexual assault campaign, supported by the WV Intercollegiate Council Against Sexual Assault (aka the Council or ICC). The Council is comprised of WV's residential campuses, our 9 rape crisis centers, the WV Foundation for Rape Information and Services and the WV Higher Education Policy Commission.
