"The Books of Magra" is a multi-volume epic and large scale musical work that explores human experience and potential through physical phenomena, mysticism, and the nature of consciousness.
The books built upon mythologies created from the author's views on consciousness. It is a powerful integration of diverse modalities, including: mysticism, science, martial arts, sound, bioenergy, and architecture.
And as "The Books of Magra" is an extensive journey into consciousness, the series incorporates elements of a number of genres, such as fantasy, science fiction, magical realism, eroticism, free verse poetry, surrealism and suspense.
The music draws from a number of styles ranging from art music to rock, from sound design to sound-healing. Some pieces express the mechanistic aspects of phenomena, while other pieces delve into the metaphysical and the mystical.
