When presenting information to students or a group, move back and forth between the presenter and the audience. According to Mary Budd Rowe's (1983) research, there should be a pause approximately every 10 minutes, in which students are given time to process the information. Teach for 10 minutes, then allow time to process or cement the information, hence......an "information dance" that teachers perform with students.
