Moinapoppy

An initiative of the Moina Michael Poppy Project. The idea is to thank our veterans and service personnel by treating them to their favorite beverage, whether it be coffee, tea, or soda. We encourage people to pick up the tab of service members or give them a gift card as a way of saying thank you one cup at a time.

We Shall Keep the Faith is the poem written by Moina Michael in 1918. It was her answer to a question raised by John McCrae in his poem In Flanders Field.

Moina Michael, known as The Poppy Lady, conceived the idea of using poppies as a symbol of remembrance for those who served in WWI. She dedicated her life to raising money to help veterans.
