For those victims of domestic violence who are doing the work of SHIFTING THEIR OWN ROLE in their current domestic violence dynamic. "Domestic violence" in this case means ANY form of abuse that you are experiencing. Whether it's physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, spiritual, or financial... abuse is abuse, and NO ONE deserves it. I learned for myself a long time ago that my dv dynamic could be shifted from the inside out, and I have since come to understand that THAT is the only way - THE ONLY WAY - to put an end to our own personal "Cycle of Abuse" experience. Learning how to make a deliberate shift in how we - the "victim" - "play our role" in the domestic violence dynamic is the Purpose of this dvshift movement. Consider it a Revolution! This is not for those who want others to fix their lives for them, and it is not for those who live in a make-believe world in which they think their abuser will someday change. NO. This is a REVOLUTION... by the victim, for the victim, of the victim, but - most importantly - IN the victim! WE are the only ones who can EVER change our lives! And if we do NOT like our life the way it is, it is completely up to US to do the work of changing it! "Punishing the perpetrator" CLEARLY does not work! CLEARLY! However, if there were no victims, who would the perpetrators have to abuse?! NOBODY!! It is up to us - as the victim - to choose to no longer BE the victim. And THAT is the Purpose of this REVOLUTION. Period. So if you are one of those 41,000,000 women in the United States who is currently living a victim life, at the mercy of someone who claims to love you but treats you like they hate you, and you would like that to change, AND you are willing to do YOUR OWN work to effect that change FOR YOURSELF, then I invite you to join me in this revolutionary new way of ENDING domestic violence. This is NOT limited only to female victims, or people who live in the United States. In fact, this is a GLOBAL MOVEMENT. That "41,000,000" number is a real number, but it is only used here to demonstrate the epidemic proportions of domestic violence. It is RIDICULOUS how many people are living that way, fearing someone that they love, and who claims to love them. Being CONTROLLED by someone that they can NEVER please. Walking on eggshells, KNOWING that there's no way in hell NOT to break one, no matter which way they step! If you're living that life right now, YOU are the only one who can change it. Join me.
