#TheUrmstonMural is the concept of Urmston in Bloom and the Urmston Partnership. The inauguration of the National Health Service took place at Park Hospital, Davyhulme now known as Trafford General on 5th July 1948 by Aneurin Bevan. The Mural is to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of this event. Students from Wellacre Academy, Urmston Grammar and St Anthony’s have created the mural panels based on the original artwork created by Neil Rowland. The schools have worked under the supervision of Artistic Director, Mr Kevin Murphy.
