This hashtag is used to raise awareness of the assaults on frontline workers and emergency service personnel in Ireland.
All too often paramedics, Gardai, firefighters, nurses, doctors etc. are assaulted in their line of work, sometimes with devastating consequences. Many of these workers are not provided with injury at work payment schemes. Some of them can never work again due to their injuries. Some of them are killed in the line of duty.
The public need to be aware of the risks taken by these workers on a daily basis, and these workers need the public to stand behind them when they are fighting for their rights with regards to pay, working conditions etc.
Support your frontline workers!
