The theme for World AIDS Day is "Getting to zero: zero new HIV infections. Zero discrimination. Zero AIDS-related deaths." For the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community, we often don't count when it comes to HIV prevention and treatment policies. Our community deserves to be counted. We believe the US cannot "get to zero" without including us in the solution to end HIV.
