Did you know that disability and poverty go hand in hand? Parents struggle to work, manage complex family needs and put hot food on the table each day for their children. At Shutaf Inclusion Programs in Jerusalem, www.campshutaf.org, we serve more than 150 children and teens, with and without disabilities, from a wide range of religious and cultural backgrounds. More than 60% of Shutaf families deal with poverty. Shutaf?s afterschool programs offer both a hot lunch and an excellent program. Twice a week. For every child. Our families tell us that?s important. Without it, there are Shutaf kids who would go hungry. This December, 2013, we're raising awareness about the importance of hot lunch for every kid in our program. Spread the word. Join our appeal. Help our cause. Thank you!
