The words: "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...” are written in stone on the statue of liberty and will remain there for the ages!

With the current border debate and the children dying in US custody this hashtag is remind us that written on the statue of liberty is a poem by Emma Lazarus Titled “The New Colosus” while most of us know its most famous line the whole thing is WRITTEN IN STONE on it SO IT’ll LAST FOR AGES! “The New Colosus”- by Emma Lazarus Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. Regardless of your political stance- who you voted for in 2016 use this # in support of the border detainees dying in US custody. Use it with every tweet regarding every upside down thing happening in the US right now! I find it ironic that in 2018 we are shutting down our government over a wall at our southern border... We forget this mantra WRITTEN IN STONE: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”
