In affiliation with the Women's Fund of Western Massachusetts, the Women of Color Giving Circle seeks to inspire young women of color, instill self-respect, and resilience. We work to build community, encourage youth development, educational success, and promote the arts. We provide funding and encourage civic action among citizens of Berkshire County. The Women of Color Giving Circle provides all high school graduating seniors of African American descent scholarships on an annual basis in the Berkshire County area. In addition, we offer a scholastic achievement scholarship to a female student of African American descent. The Women of Color Giving Circle also provides a wholistic mentoring and empowerment program for girls called Rope On The Move.
