GM Yasser Seirawan, popularly Yaz, made a bold statement degrading the ideas of "perhaps the most brilliant theoretician in chess" (quote by the American GM Robert Byrne, a philosophy proffesor) to "all rubble" on day 3 of the Fischer random world championship match between GM Nakamura of USA and GM Carlsen, #1 in the classic chess.
After making the statement without any further argumentation, GM Seirawan has never got back to the chess community to justify his tactless remark.
