Delmarva refers to the area located along the east coast and includes the eastern shore counties of Maryland and Virginia, along with the state of Delaware. The peninsula is bordered by the Chesapeake Bay on the west, and the Delaware River, Delaware Bay, and Atlantic Ocean on the east.
