As powerful as the BI analytics capability is within Cognos, there are still some things that customers have identified as needed information that it does not yet provide. For these situations metadata custom queries into the database are an option to provide this information. These custom queries are for use with NetVisn, a Cognos third-party tool from Envisn, Inc.
