Recovery in Stockport presents the 'Battle of the Bands 2016'. Search Facebook 'Battle of the Bands 2016'

A similar event to Britains Got Talent giving young people the opportunity to show off their musical talents. Two/ three songs from each band/ group/ performer. Scored by an independent panel of judges.
An official Winners Trophy will be presented at the end of the event and the band's name should be mentioned by the local media (press and radio/ TV).
Open to 11-18 year olds from in and around the Stockport area.
Come along and take part or just watch the performances.
Ticket Price: £5.00 for performers and spectators alike.

Recovery in Stockport(RiS) presents Recovery Rocks 2016. 14 Aug 2016. Stockport Guildhall. 6-9pm. This will be the first 'dry' music event in Stockport promoting the message that you do not need alcohol and/or drugs to have a great night out. Come along for a great night of entertainment. Watch the Facebook post, Recovery Rocks 2016, or Twitter feed for the latest updates on the artists appearing on the night. Please note that the artists listed on the flyers/ posters/ pages may change and are subject to their 'paid' commitments. Ticket Price: £7.50 (this also includes entry to to the daytime event, "Battle of the Bands". See separate event post for details on Facebook).
