According to an Ancient Greek myth, the gods and goddesses had their sandals made on the beautiful island of Crete by a gifted sandal maker who enriched each pair with magical powers. Famous for having made the flying sandals for Hermes, the sandal maker also decorated them with his personal signature, a “golden wing” clasp. IGS+ design and production studio is a team of inspired Greek designers, painters and traditional, yet highly skilled shoemakers. Their love for Ancient Greece and its history, Greek Gods, myths and fine arts, combined with their dedication to each ones profession, were the point factors for this union. Using traditional techniques that have existed for centuries together with innovative, eco - friendly technologies we design and produce distinguished, artistic, high quality handmade sandals. Each pair is individually handmade from start to finish, ensuring a unique product of the highest quality.
