Originally, four friends from Greece and Italy were named Gomkers, after they bought and renovated an old house in the remote village of Gomk in Armenia, turning it into an ecolodge Guesthouse, giving local families jobs and contributing to the development of the tiny village of the mountainous Vayots Dzor Province

anyone who adopts an environmental conscious travel and living attitude, especially those who wish to visit or have already visited the remote village of Gomk, located on the Transcaucasian trail in Armenia, Vayots Dzor Province. Gomkers are usually travellers, adventurers, yogis, health professional, environmentalists and nature lovers.
