Human-carnivore conflict can be understood as ?any interaction between humans and carnivore that results in negative impacts on human social, economic or cultural life, on the conservation of carnivore populations, or on the environment.? (adapted from WWF, 2005). This conflict seems to be increasing everywhere in the world due to the rapid human encroachment of nature habitats, and overlapping with wildlife, which creates a conflict-prone scenario. The results of this conflict are often tragic, culminating in economic losses, killing of carnivores, and losses of human lives.
