Journeys in FIlm

Using feature-length narrative and documentary films as springboards for developing interdisciplinary lesson plans in subjects ranging from math, science, language arts, social studies and the arts to topics like environmental sustainability, hunger, global health and media literacy. When properly used, film can be a powerful educational tool to encourage deeper learning and develop critical thinking skills, preparing students to live and work as informed, media-literate and globally competent citizens.
