For those of you who don't know her...Chelsea is a sweet, little angel, while also a very vibrant and outgoing child. She's yet to meet a stranger who didn't instantly become a friend. Her fair features and blonde hair are the result of a deletion on Chromosome 15 (PWS), and do create the most beautiful girl. She possesses great strength and persistence that is most courageous. Chelsea is a fighter who never gives up! Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a complex, life threatening, non-inherited genetic disorder. It is a spectrum disorder that has multiple stages throughout the course of life. 100% of the proceeds raised by our One SMALL Step event directly supports the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR). It is the mission of FPWR to eliminate the challenges of Prader-Willi syndrome through the advancement of research. High-quality research will lead to more effective treatments and an eventual cure for this disorder.
