The former top rated drama on A&E - Longmire, was canceled after 3 seasons on 8/28/14. Fans stormed social media, hoping to land a more deserving network. Fortunately, Longmire's 4th season was picked up by Netflix and premieres on Sep 10, 2015. The NetflixforLongmire campaign was designed to help inform potential viewers of what is best about Longmire, and why they should watch it.

Longmire was A&E's 2nd highest rated program overall, and its highest rated drama ever, when it cancelled the show on August 28, 2014 - after season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger. Its 5.6 million loyal viewers were not happy! So the Longmire Posse Official Fan Site organizes weekly "stampedes" on Facebook and Twitter to let potential new networks know how committed, determined, loyal and influential the Longmire fan base is. We have conducted these stampedes each week since the cancellation was announced, and as evidenced in last night's stampede, support has not wained. In fact, the Longmire Posse members increased the number of original tweets by more than 5,000 last night. Our hashtags change weekly, and trend regularly on both Facebook and Twitter.
