#Scampaign is a clever phrase meaning “Scam campaign.” Perhaps the one who came up with this was Ian Tuttle, the Thomas L. Rhodes Fellow at the National Review Institute. In any case, #Scampaign is applied to the 2016 presidential election campaign of Donald Trump. The reason is that twenty percent of the campaign’s May expenditures were reimbursements to businesses that Trump owns.
