The movement to stop the legal limitation of the number of patients Addiction Medicine physicians can treat. Even physicians with Board Certification in Addiction (highest credentials possible) can only treat 275 patients suffering from addiction disorders. This is an immediate barrier to treatment that can be eliminated.
