On the 20th of February 2016 Tropical Cyclone Winston, a category 4 Hurricane Hit Fiji with the same intensity if not stronger than Hurricane Katrina in the USA. This cyclone flattened entire villages and entire schools had to be relocated. The Fijian people are strong, stubborn, resilient and refuse to let it affect our culture of happiness and smiles. That is why we are stronger than Winston!!! The recovery efforts in Fiji will take months if not years. Whole schools have been moved and or combined. We hope that people will keep Fiji in their minds and hearts and help us to rebuild even when we have been forgotten in the media.
