Founded in 1994, Newground Social Investment (NSI or #NewgroundSRI) is a Seattle-based Registered Investment Advisor (or money manager) for individual & institutional clients who seek to have investment portfolios invested in line with their values or institutional mission. This is commonly called "Socially Responsible Investment" (SRI), or sustainable impact investment. Newground is the nation's first "Social Purpose Corporation," which means that it strives to meet clients' financial goals while also pledging responsibility to the needs of the environment, workers, community, and the world at large. Newground Is one of only a handful of firms in the country that engage in shareholder advocacy: dialogues & negotiations with corporations on behalf of clients, seeking to address the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues that arise out of a company's operations. Independent and fee-only, Newground is the Northwest's oldest, largest, and most recognized SRI money manager. On the web at: www.Newground.net
