Google "usps apo fpo dpo" for official information on the above; the system deleted the link.

A list of online stores that ship to overseas U.S. military APO FPO addresses, beginning with Amazon.com - eventually covering the entire inventory of the long tail of the Internet. :-) If you stumble across this page, please ask your webmaster(s) to add/include APO FPO drop-downs and enough room to type verrrrrry long international telephone numbers in webpage info boxes when they conduct e-commerce software updates (like Magento!). Typically, web software packages "out of the box" include only the 48 contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii (and maybe a couple of random U.S. territories, if you get lucky). The thing is, we've had APO and FPO addresses for many decades (they've been used overseas since at least World War II). For example, I know someone who lives in Germany, but cannot use her German address for certain items, and thus uses her APO AE address on a nearby U.S. military base - the "E" in AE stands for "Europe," aye. On the international telephone numbers, same thing: Please ask webmasters to type little code or whatever they do to extend the boxes to allow room for telephone numbers that are way longer than the normal 10-digit American telephone numbers. We get stuck all the time - as in, we kicked out of webpages - because our real-deal home and cell telephone numbers are too long to enter in the box. When the international telephone number is truly the only telephone number we have available. Thank you, and have a good day! Here's an official link that explains more:http://***
