Presstitution occurs when a reporter disregards their duty to remain impartial in order to report unbiased news in exchange for front row seats at the reporteds venue of choice. Stories generated in this manner are stories indeed.

Popular and generally mains stream news media outlets so compromised by their affiliation with those with whom they are tasked with reporting that the news they report cannot help but be skewed in their favor. Presstitute is a take off of prostitute where by veteran and new anchors alike sell their soul for a cheap story that reads more like an advertisement than research backed journalism. In the old days people recognized this as Yellow Journalism.
