You cannot effect any change, implement any policies, or accomplish anything at all unless you win elections -- and regularly. Politics succeeds by multiplication, not division, as Trump's loss and Biden's win just reminded us. Slogans, demands, attitudes, and rhetoric that alienates would-be allies and invigorates adversaries will never let you accomplish what you wish to accomplish, and harms the movements, people, and ideals you might claim you care for.

Donald J Trump has been credibly accused (more credibly now that new information about his pal Epstein and their parties has come out, and especially how Epstein is known to have recruited some of his young victims FROM MAR-A-LAGO) of forcible rape of a then-inexperienced 13-year-old girl. She first brought action against Trump in a California Court years ago, but withdrew the charge, reporting death threats against her and her family. That action has now been taken up in another Court; we'll see what comes of it this time. She claims to have an eyewitness and fellow victim.

Leave aside however you feel about Bernie's policies; focus on the man: HE CANNOT WIN. Ignore the fact that 50% of Americans wld refuse to even consider voting for a "socialist" (qualifiers like "democratic" change nothing) -- tho that alone wld doom his campaign. Ignore the fact that 40% of Americans wld refuse to even consider voting for an "atheist" (maybe he's just an "agnostic;" that also changes nothing) -- tho that alone wld also doom his campaign. Here's just some of what else they'd throw at him: ¶ honeymoon in Moscow ¶ rallied w/ Sandinistas ¶ thinks women love to fantasize gang rape ¶ endorsed by the NRA (!) ¶ tried to send VT nuke waste to a Latinx town in Texas ¶ no tax forms (huh -- where've we seen that before) ¶ wife under FBI investigation ¶ deadbeat dad ¶ women on his campaign were underpaid, harassed Y'know WHY he's "the most popular pol in America"? Bcs the Publicans have held fire on him, hoping we'll be stupid enuf to nominate him. In 1988, Dukakis came out of the DNC Convention w/ a 17% polling lead. He lost to GHWBush by 8%. The GOP attack machine cut him 25% in just a few months -- and that was just w/ a picture of him in a tank & Willie Horton. Once the Thuglicans let loose on Bernie, he'll be annihilated. If he's our nom, Trump (or whoever) would win a pop-vote landslide of Nixonian or Reaganesque proportions. And -- unlike w/ HRC -- they wouldn't even have to lie all that much to do so.

The entire Trump Crime Family are already provably guilty of multiple scams, from the already adjudicated Trump University and Trump Foundation rackets, thru the now-becoming-known scheming with Iran's Revolutionary Guards in the Trump projects in Tajikistan (see The New Yorker articles, among others), to the multiple grifts w/ the Chinese and Ivanka's trademarks and factories. MAGA, baby -- Mueller Ain't Goin Away. And if Acting-Poorly AG Whitaker tries to suppress the Mueller reports, there's always the SDNY investigations -- which can NOT be pardoned away by any President, no matter how corrupt. They're ALL going down -- and the sooner, the better for our citizenry, country, and world.

The essence of today's Republican Party is hypocrisy whether it's on "The Crushing Debt" & federal deficits that they howled abt under Obama & have now doubled w/ Spanky or the sexual harassment (& assaults) & racism that they tolerate in their own highest leadership, but shriek abt in D-list Dems or the kowtowing to foreign dictators engaging in divisive, abusive, and violent rhetoric doing voter fraud & suppression corruptly profiting off their gov't positions &/or "charities" you name it, the Republicans are doing double-standards on it. Every issue, no exceptions.

Let the will & wisdom of Dem voters prevail. Sitting out the election, 3rd-party votes, & write-ins ALL just serve the Publicans & will only ensure a repeat of '16 (or '00). The stakes are too high; people are literally dying; our country, rule of law,& planet are under attack. "Never[this-one]" and "Never[that-one]" just divide & weaken us, and strengthen them. I have my preferences, & I know the nominee might not be among them, but I commit to fully supporting whomever the Party's voters select, even if it's Bernie, or HRC, or Biden, or Beto, or Warren, or Harris, or Joe Manchin. Because the very worst Dem is better than the very best Publican, I Will Vote Blue No Matter Who.
