Our Vision is a world where women fill up first from the Source, then overflow their blessings to the world. The Water Bearers exists to support women to take ownership of their divinity and re-awaken to their true power and intuitive nature. Women are natural leaders by recognizing and sharing love and their feminine gifts from the boardroom to the bedroom and beyond. Access to clean water has become a luxury, not a right, as fresh waterways diminish or have been contaminated. Over 37 million people die each year from water-borne diseases – that’s more than 100,000 people per day. Water is LIFE. Almost 70% of the human body is made of water. When we learn to respect and fall in love with WATER we begin to savor it – both in our bodies and on the entire planet. Wisdom keepers from spiritual traditions and indigenous cultures for thousands of years have foretold of a time when the planet will experience a re-awakening of feminine energy. When humanity’s focus on consumerism, competition and greed is re-balanced with an increase of compassion, co-creation and re-connection to nature’s intelligence. That time has come. It is here, and it is NOW. The Water Bearers is a movement started by two women, Spryte Loriano and Jane Brinton, who both share a passion for seeing everyone on the planet having access to clean water. It was birthed one evening during a conversation, when they both said “The Water Bearers” simultaneously, as if they had instantly been made stewards of women and water. Coincidently, the very next night, Spryte was nearing the end of a good read The Serpent of Light: The Rise of the Feminine: 2012 and Beyond and discovered that the Waitaha people of New Zealand, a Matriarchal culture dating back over 4000 years, were known as the original “Water Bearers.” The phrase jumped out at her as an omen, and there began a journey that would weave together the old, the new, and the magic of intentional service into this movement – For the love of water!

TheWaterBearers.org has the mission to inspire women who have access to clean water to get it to those who do not. We are amassing to get One Million People access to clean water by World Water Day 2016. Our 30 day campaign begins February 22 and ends midnight March 22, 2016. We will accomplish our goal with 100 Women Team Leaders fundraising for 100 Permanent Clean Water Filters, which each serve 100 people! Filters provide 1 million gallons of clean water each and can last decades! Our distribution partner is Waves4Water. All donations are 100% tax deductible and 100% of your donation to TheWaterBearers goes to WavesforWater.
